10 Vaishya, Brahmin, Bhumihar and OBC leaders are handling the election campaign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kashi. All of them represent different regions. Some are from Western UP, some from Purvanchal and Bundelkhand. Leaders from Gujarat and Rajasthan have been given important responsibilities. The special thing is that Kashi province, Gorakhpur province, Kanpur province, Western UP and Awadh province, which are important from the point of view of BJP organization, have been given representation.
Sunil Bansal is the national general secretary. He has a long experience of working in UP. During the 2014 Lok Sabha, 2017 assembly, 2019 Lok Sabha and 2022 assembly elections, the state general secretary was looking after the work of the organization. He is considered very close to Modi and Shah. After the Prime Minister’s announcement to contest the elections, Bansal has come to Kashi about ten times. These days too he is in Kashi. He is participating in more than ten meetings every day. He is finalizing the election preparations. Bansal comes from the Vaishya community.
Satish Dwivedi has been the Basic Education Minister of UP. He is a resident of Siddharthnagar. He won the 2017 elections and became an MLA, then a minister, but lost the 2022 elections. Now he is active in the organization. He is the election in-charge of Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency. He has been camping in the district since March 2024. He is paying more attention to booth management. He is also organizing public meetings, road shows and small meetings. He comes from the Brahmin community.
